Looking at the sky I dive into the galaxies,
but couldn't feel good as this land wasn't mine...
I miss the people, the place, the zeal,
so true so genuine and not just a place to survive...
closing all the windows I look at the door,
waiting for the one who can understand me little more..
the night protrudes out of the dying sun,
sprawling its wings of darkness, screaming out its turn!!

and if you get what I mean, you are the one, the only one...
Accompanied by madness, the darkness surrounds,
I can sense your absence,see the boundaries that bound..

When I look up to the clouds and sky,

When I turn to look around at the table we sat..
Tears roll down on my cheeks.. I remember the coffees we had…

Freaking out for movies, roaming on the streets…
I still remember those Punjabi beats..
Laughing and mocking is all we wud do..
Correcting your pronunciations to get you through…

Watching gals crossing by..
Wishing them from the bottom of ur heart.. shud I give a try? ;)
Noticing their habits.. the colors they wear…
I’ll not tell anyone about the “desi gal”, I swear…

The trio in the rickshaw struggling to sit..
With those idiotic talks, enjoying every bit…
Sitting beside me every thick and thin..
All troubles and sorrows you guys would trim..

This pain is overwhelming today when I’m alone..
Loneliness haunts me every dusk and dawn..
Waiting for another half month..
After then even I’ll be gone…

But why?

There are people burning, there are people dying
Shot with the gunshots without any crime
Murders and massacres we find it all time
Ravaging fiery flames turning all sides..
Jump into the trains or stay inside grand hotels
Your next step is what only your destiny can tell
Burning the taxies, random firings in the crowd
Blasts in the buildings, in the places around
People have fought and they still fight
Their spirits remain high, tears rolling in the plight
Panic and pain what all remains
Bodies of people with unknown names
Finding a shelter, looking for a place
Where you can find your second life, a bless again
Killing and harming all day all night
Debating over who’s wrong or right
Blinding each other ending the lives
No humanity in their heart alive
The smoky haze blinds us all
Leaving at the stage where life stall...

and then came a disaster...

Tearing it down brick by brick,

You’ll get no chance to play another trick.

Snapping the chain link by link,

I shall not cringe, I shall not shrink.

I dont need to be held down,I don’t want to be caged,

I don’t like the darkness, I hate to be dazed .

burning the rope piece by piece,

just want to put my life in peace.

searing the flesh layer by layer,

forgetting the memories as if you were ever there…
